Funeral services for Mrs. Cornelius (Leona C.) Waagmeester, age 71, Larchwood, Iowa, will be held on Tuesday at the United Church of Christ there, with Rev. Don Niederfrank officiating. Interment will be in the Larchwood Cemetery under the direction of Jongewaard-Roste Funeral Home of Larchwood.

She died Saturday, February 21, at the Luverne hospital.

Leona Nicloy was born in Lyon county, Iowa, on November 28, 1909, to Deal and Irene Nicloy, and lived here all of her life. She married Cornelius Waagmeester on June 9, 1927, in Luverne and they had lived in Larchwood since then.

Survivors include the widower; three sons, Robert of Baltic, S.D., Gordon and Merle,
both of Rock Rapids; a daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Beverly) Wilke of Lester, Iowa; 13
grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a step-brother, Lloyd Nicloy of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
