Funeral services for Mrs. William H. (Helen) Jansen, 68, of Rock Rapids, Lyon County, Iowa, will be held on Tuesday in the First Reformed church here. Burial will be in Riverview cemetery. Van Ginkel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

She died on Saturday, February 7, in Merrill Pioneer Community hospital following a brief illness.

Helen DeJongh was born October 26, 1912 in Rock Rapids to Rev. John and Ella Van Der Beek DeJongh. She married William Jansen on May 19, 1941, at Rock Rapids and they spent their married life here.

Survivors include the widower; three daughters, mrs. Uvaldo (Phyllis) Quintana and Mrs. Marcia Lofgrin, both of Roswell, N.M., and Mrs. Allan (Sylvia) Byrnes, Rochester, N.Y.; one son, Paul, Floyds Knobs, Indiana; five grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. C.F. (Bernice) Dykstra, Rock Rapids and two brothers, Edwin and Delmer, both of Rock Rapids.
