JENSEN, CHARLES B. 1880-1954
Retired Farmer Dies Suddenly. Charles B. Jensen, 73, of 1904 E. 8th St., died en-route to a local hospital Monday after suffering a heart attack while working in his yard.

Mr. Jensen retired from farming to come to Sioux Falls in 1944. He was employed at the Sioux Falls Stock Yards by two commission firms until 1951, when he fully retired.

He was born July 13, 1880, at Guthrie Center, Iowa. On Feb 1, 1901, he was married to Anna Christensen at Perkins, Iowa. They began farming at Inwood, Iowa, and later lived on farms at Platte, Dell Rapids, Ellis and Granite, Iowa, before coming to Sioux Falls.

Survivors are the widow, three daughters, Mrs. Emil Wolf and Mrs. Kenneth Wilkinson, Sioux Falls, and Mrs. Hal Reid, Rapid City; two sons, Robert W., Sioux Falls and Harold, Brandon; 10 grandchildren; one great grandchild; his mother, Mrs. Ida J. Jensen, Platte; one sister Mrs. Lillian Helgerson, Pasadena, California; and three brothers, Henry, Seattle; Clarence, Platte, and Archie, Pilot Grove, Missouri.

The Miller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
