Heart Attack is Fatal
To Wm. F. Jammer Wednesday.
Prominent Farmer Moved Here

Wm. F. Jammer, prominent Lyon county farm operator, died suddenly at his home here Wednesday morning. Death was the result of acute heart failure. He was 56 years of age at the time of his death.

While Mr. Jammer suffered minor heart trouble for some time, his condition was not considered serious, and was not considered serious, and he continued to work with his son, LaMonte, in handling cattle feeding operations on the farm west of town. The attack which took his life was suffered about 9 a.m., and before medical assistance could arrive he had died.

Born in County

Jammer was the son of William and Dora Kock Jammer. He was born on a farm west of Rock Rapids and most of his life was lived in this county. For some years he engaged in the banking business at Marion, South Dakota, but he returned to this community to engage in farm and feeding operations.

A year ago Mr. and Mrs. Jammer moved to Rock Rapids to make their home.

Mr. and Mrs. Jammer have three children, all of whom with their mother, survive. They are Wm. C., in Chicago; LaMonte and Mrs. Ray Klinkenborg, Rock Rapids. Also surviving are six sisters and a brother. The sisters are: Mrs. Alma Doss, Rock Rapids; Mrs. Luella Julian, Flandreau, Minn.; Mrs. Loretta Schutz, Rock Valley; Mrs. Dorothy Sauer, San Gabriel, Calif.; Mrs. Viola Larson, Joplin, Mo.; and Mrs. Emily Jammer, Rock Rapids. The brother is August Jammer, Rock Rapids.
