Services held on Monday for Clara Jammer

Services were held here Monday morning for Mrs. Clara Jammer, 81, who died at the home of her daughter, mid-afternoon on Friday. Mrs. Jammer had apparently been in good health but suffered a fatal heart attack.

The Rev. Isaias Paniamogan of First Church of Christ (Congregational) officiated at the service and Mrs. Kenneth Wallace was at the organ. Interment was in Riverview cemetery. Bearers were Roger Baatz, Don Bunte, Jerry Baatz, William George, Ron Hasche, Dale Katt and Joe Kerns, alternate.

Clara Henrietta was the daughter of C.F. and Wanda Pepple Gall. She was born October 8, 1893 at Little Rock. On April 27, 1913 she was united in marriage with William F. Jammer, at Marion, S.D. They lived there until 1928, where Mr. Jammer was in the banking business, and then returned to the Rock Rapids community.

Survivors are her daughter, Mrs. Ray Klinkenborg, Rock Rapids and a son, William C. Jammer of Laurel, Nebr. Also surviving are two grandchildren: Annette Jammer Smith and William Jammer, Jr.; two sisters: Elsie Vickerman and Caroline Livingstone, who live in Oregon and a brother, L. H. Harrison in Louisiana. Her husband died in 1947 and she was also preceded in death by a son, Lamont and two sisters.
