MILLER, COLETTE B. (BRENNAN) 1913 - 1992
Granite, Iowa - Colette B. Miller, 78, died Saturday, March 14, 1992, in Palisade Nursing Home, in Garretson, where she was a resident since 1987.

Colette Brennan was born April 30, 1913, in Oaks, North Dakota. She moved to Sioux Falls in 1926, and graduated from Washington High School in 1931.

She married Elmer Miller on May 30, 1937, in Canton. They lived in Sioux Falls until 1951, when they moved to Brandon. She owned and operated the Gingerbread House, a day-care center.

They moved to Granite in 1967. Her husband died in 1988.

Survivors include two sons; Elmer Jr. Canton; and Thomas, Larchwood, Iowa; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother; Thomas of Lincoln, Nebraska; one sister, Dorothy Tomandl of Lincoln, Nebraska; and a half-brother Paul Slama of Madera, California.

Services will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Grandview Covenant Church, Larchwood, with burial in Grandview Covenant Cemetery, Larchwood.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Roste Funeral Home, Larchwood, with the family present from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight.
