Alma Anna Margarita Berger was born on July 9, 1902 at Doon, Lyon county, Iowa. She passed away on June 30, 1988 at Britton, Marshall County, South Dakota. She was the daughter of John F. Berger and Katherine Schuett.

Alma married Walter Hermann Emil Roehr on November 17, 1921 at Britton, Marshall County, South Dakota. They had four children: Delmar Walter Roehr, Duane Lester Roehr, Daryl Dean Roehr, and Ronald John Roehr. Walter was born at St. Ansgar, Iowa on March 11, 1897. He preceded her in death on Sept. 3, 1963 at Britton. Walter was the son of Robert Carl Roehr and Anna Bertha Dieterichs.

Alma was buried in the Britton Cemetery. She was a wonderful, loving person and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
