Caroline June Dreesen was born September 24, 1926 at George, Iowa. She was the daughter of Harm and Julia (Blum) Siebrings. Caroline attended country school near George, Iowa.

She married Ben Dreesen Jr. on January 5, 1944. Caroline and Ben lived North of Little Rock their entire married life. She was a baptized member of the Salem Reformed Church in Little Rock. She enjoyed watching craft shows on television as well as listening to country music. She especially enjoyed her visits with her children and grandchildren. She worked at Campbell Soup Company in Worthington, Minnesota and AMPI in Sibley, Iowa, as well as farmed with her husband Ben.

Ben passed away on June 17, 1993. In January 1994, Caroline suffered a stroke and brain aneurysm that left her paralyzed and needing nursing home care.

Caroline passed away March 17, 2005 at the Social Service Center in Yankton, South Dakota at the age of 78.

She leaves to cherish her memory: two daughters, Barbara and husband David Becwar, Ferryville, Wisconsin, Julia and husband Mike Mormann of Adrian, Minnesota; one son, Robert and wife Shawn Dreesen of Little Rock, Iowa; six grandchildren: Aaron, Ashley, and Abby Mormann, Morgan, Miranda, and Madisen Dreesen, and one sister-in-law, Elayne Siebrands of Doon, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ben, one son, John Dale Dreesen, one sister, Alvina Hansmann, and three brothers, John, Peter, and Herman.

A funeral was held on Saturday, March 19, 2005 at Salem Reformed Church in Little Rock, Iowa, with Pastor Brian Hellenga officiating. Interment was in Pleasant View Cemetery, Little Rock, Iowa.

Arrangements were by Bolin Funeral Chapel, Little Rock, Iowa.
