I am looking for more info on Lida or Lide WREN b. Jun 1853, England. In the 1900 C's I find a Lide WREN. She is listed as a Widow. One child Edith H.
WREN is listed with her age 11, IA. Father and Mother are listed as being born Eng.
Edith H. WREN marries Ralph L. DOUGLAS 29 Jul 1907 in Lucas Co., IA. Who is WREN that Lida or Lide is married to???? Could Lida or Lide WREN be Eliza Lida WHITNEY dau. of James WHITNEY??? or Eliza Lide LEE dau. of Mary the wife of James WHITNEY who died in 1872 in Lucas Co., IA. Mary was listed in Henderson Co., IL. marriage listings as Surname of LEE when she married James WHITNEY in 1860. Most likely this was a married name.
Any added info would be appreciated.
