Dear Angie,

My great, great grandmother was Fannie J.(ane?) Templeton, born 4 Oct 1827 or 28 in Ohio. Died 8 Feb 1900 in Pleasant Township, Lucas Co., Iowa. She married Joshua Wilson (b. 19 Mar 1824, Wayne Co., Indiana (?) d. 18 Dec 1895 in Belinda, Pleasant Township, Lucas County, Iowa) in Feb 1849.

Very sketchy information suggests she was the daughter of William C. Templeton (b. 21 May 1803 in Pennsylvania, m. 8 Jan. 1879, d. 28 Jul 1879) and Jane McCullough (b. 24 Feb 1803 in Ireland, d. 16 Dec. 1851).

William C. Templeton's parents were John Templeton (b. 22 Apr 1779, d. 3 May 1859) and Jane Stewart (b. 13 Jan 1779, d. 7 Mar 1821).

I have more, if you think it would be helpful.

My information comes from two sources: a photocopy from a book, "History of Lucas County," entry under Joshua Wilson; and online Family Search of the LDS genealogical site.

If you find any information on the Templeton's in Lucas County, Iowa, I would appreciate it very much if you would send that information to me.
