I am looking for information on Earnest David Swanson, born 1911 (from SSDI entry) in Chariton. Would like to find his parents'names. The CA Death Index listed his father's surname as ALFREDSON (?) and his mother's as ISAACSON. It is not know if he was adopted. Line searches of the 1920 and 1930 census for Chariton failed to find a listing for him. Also, is there any kind of birth entry books prior to 1915? Thanks for the help.
