Decendents of John A Gustafson Holmes, orig Lucas Co, IA

HOLMES, GUSTAFSON, MUNSON, MONSON

I would like to contact present day decendents of John Alfred Holmes(1844/1902), Andrew Frederick Holmes (1852/1923) both born in Sweden, passed away in Lucas Co., IA. Also their siblings Carl August (1848/ 1908) born Sweden died Omaha Ne. and a sister Christina Matilda born 1849 Sweden, have no death date, or location, may be NE possibly. All were born with the surname Gustafson to Gustaf Mansson & Johanna Nilsdotter. They all apparently assumed the Holmes surname when they became citizens.Their Father and his second wife and their children also came to the US and settled in Lucas Co, IA before they started moving around. Their American Names were Munson or Monson. I would like to hear from any of these families. I am hoping to get some old family photo's and stories, and hear about the present day families..
