I located an obituary for Ronald.
Randall Roosevelt Nine was born October 31, 1917, in Warren County, Iowa to Daniel and Nettie Clapp Nine. He departed this life on January 11, 1987 in Chariton, Ia. at the age of 69 years, two months, and 11 days. He was united in marriage to Ila Mae Evans on March 22, 1942. To this union were born three children: Janet, Randall Jr., and Pauletta. Randall was engaged in farming most of his life. He also worked at various places in Chariton. He retired from CONTEL in 1983. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and one grandson. Randall leaves behind to mourn him: his wife Ila, daughters Janet Hoover and husband Doyle; Pauletta Myers and Charles Hixenbaugh; and son Randall Jr. and his wife Teresa, and eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Also three sisters: Elsie Koble, Icel Crawford, and Iva Grater, along with many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Randall Nine were held Wednesday, Jan. 14. 1987 at 2 p.m. at the Mosher Funeral Home. The services were conducted by Reverend David Lovett of Kansas City. Pallbearers were Rusty McElvain, Paul Vandevene, Sam Voos, Gary Crawford, Ivan Evans, Jr. and Marvin Neer, Jr. Burial was in the Fry Hill Cemetery near Lucas.
