This is what I located to help you. A Google search located Phyllis's obituary. It appears that unfortunately Phyllis Steele passed away two years ago. Her sister, Joyce Steele is married to Ken Moody and lives in Whitehouse, Texas according to Phyllis' obituary.

July 26, 1944 --- April 20, 2011

Phyllis Marie DeVries, 66, of Dumont, Iowa, passed away April 20, 2011, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. She was born July 26, 1944, in Chariton, Iowa, to Daniel and Lorene (Putz) Steele. Phyllis graduated from Chariton High School. She was united in marriage to Gary DeVries on August 16, 1975, in Whitehouse, Texas. Phyllis was primarily a homemaker but has worked at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids and the Presbyterian Village in Ackley. She attended meetings at the Hitesville Gospel Hall, rural Aplington, Iowa. On April 5, 1977, she trusted Christ as her personal Savior while sitting at the kitchen table on the farm north of Aplington.

Phyllis enjoyed crocheting, watching and feeding hummingbirds. She loved her family, especially her granddaughters. Phyllis is survived by her husband Gary DeVries of Dumont, son Jason DeVries of Colorado Springs, Colorado, daughter Arlene McRoberts of Hampton, Iowa, granddaughters Katie and Kylie McRoberts, brother Mike Steele of Jacksonville, Arkansas, sister Joyce (Ken) Moody of Whitehouse, Texas, step sister Katherine (Shorty) Clevenger of Henderson, Texas, and step sister-in-law Billie James of Sioux City. She was preceded in death by her parents and her step brother Ronald James. Burial will be in the Hitesville Gospel Hall Cemetery.
