Interested in any information about Hixon family members, who lived in or near Lucas County at least at the time of the 1870 census. Parents: James Hixon b: abt 1810 PA & Elizabeth Dougherty Hixon b: abt 1812 PA or OH. Children: Mary Ann Hixon Akin b: abt 1833 OH d: Aug 1873 Page Co, IA m: 1 Mar 1855 Harrison Co, OH David Akin b: abt 1816 Ireland d: 1898 Tecumseh, NE; James Hixon, Jr b: abt 1835 OH; David Hixon b: abt 1838 m: Susannah ? b: abt 1842 OH (Their children Alice b: abt 1863 IN, and Minnie b: abt 1866 IA), Harvey Hixon b: 1841 OH, and Alice Hixon b: abt 1845 OH. I have quite a bit of information about Mary Ann's son Isaac "Pat" Akin who may have lived with or near some of the Hixon family in Lucas County.
