Seeking information about James M Brown, born ca 1815 in Kentucky, lived in Lucas Co. prior to 1849. His wife Ellen (Ellin or Eleanor Keene) died 1859 and buried in Newbern Cemetery. The couple had 7 children, all came west to Oregon except David, the oldest child, born about 1840 in Indiana.
