I believe your Arthur was the son of George and Mary Alice (Whalley) Ansley. If he's the one I'm thinking of, he was shot and killed in a tavern in Ward, Iowa, which is in Monroe County, Iowa. He was an innocent bystander but he's the one who lost his life. He's buried in the Albia city cemetery. My mother's unverified family memory says his middle name was Paul but we have his wife's name as Eudora. George was my great-grandfather's brother and I don't have too much on his descendants. This Arthur Ansley did have a son Paul who was still living the last I knew.
