Joel Allen Glendenning, infant son of the Rev. LeRay and Lisa Glendenning of Chariton died January 21, 1989 shortly after birth at Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Surviving are his parents, two sisters, Andrea and Bethany; one brother, Martin; grandparents, Phil and Woodie Martin of Napa, ID. and Elgin and Norma Jean Glendenning of Plainville, KS.

Services were held at the Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Dave Humble of Des Moines conducting.

Burial was in the Chariton Cemetery.
