Poured Money Into Stock Market Before He Ended His Life.
It has been disclosed that in the three or four years preceding his suicide, the late Cashier F. R. Crocker of the defunct First National hank of Chariton paid more than $500,000 to one firm, of Chicago and New York, in his stock trading operations. The greater part of this was during the last few days of his life, when he poured money into the stock market for speculation at the rate of $30,000 to $40,000 daily in the hope of saving himself.
