MARGARET A. JONES was born January 24th, 1868, at Civnianian, Glamorganshire
Wales, and died at her home in Lucas, May 23, 1908. She was married to
JOHN P. THOMAS at Merthyr, Wales, in January, 1886, to which union ten
children were born.

The family came to this country ten years ago, locating at Red Oak, removing
to Lucas a year later. The deceased united with the Latter Day Saints Church
in Wales, October 29, 1886, and was a faithful member up to the time of her
death.

She was taken seriously ill last July and has suffered much since, but was
faithful and cheerful through it all. She leaves a loving husband, nine
children, one grandchild, a mother, of Lucas, one brother in Wales, and one
in Canada, besides other relatives to mourn her departure from this life.
Her brothers and sisters in church fellowship as well as friends and
neighbors, extend their deepest sympathy to the bereaved family.

Funeral services at the L.D.S. Church May 25, were conducted by Elder J.R.
Evans, assisted by Elder E.B. Morgan, and the remains were laid to rest in
the Norwood Cemetery.
