MRS. MARY ELLEN SMITH died on Wednesday morning, at the home of her son, P
P. SMITH, east of town, after an illness of considerable duration, at the
age of 90 years and 18 days. The remains were taken to Avon, Illinois, her
former home, today, where funeral services will be held. MRS. SMITH came
out from Illinois, a few months ago, to reside with her son.
