ESTA LEACH, eldest daughter of ALONZO LEACH and wife, was born in Lucas
County, February 20, 1886, and died July 1, 1907, aged 21 years, 3 months
and 11 days.

She was united in marriage to WILLIAM SPENCER June 26, 1904. Two children
were born of this union, a son and daughter. The son, little GAYLORD,
having preceded her to that home beyond. The deceased spent all her life in
Lucas County. She was respected by all who knew her. The past ten months
she has been failing in health and since the 14th of April has been confined
to her bed. All was done by loved ones and friends to stay the hand of
death. She was a patient sufferer. Speaking of her trust in the Savior of
the world, and bidding her loved ones a final good-bye one by one and death
claimed the house of the soul at 8:30 Monday evening, and the spirit
returned to God who gave it.

Rev. W.B. Pond conducted song services at the residence at 9 o'clock
yesterday morning and the funeral sermon was delivered at the Goshen Church
at 11 a.m., after which the body was interred in the cemetery nearby.
