MRS. CAROLINE FERM was born in Sweden, Nov. 25, 1823, and died at her home
in this city, Tuesday, April 16, at the age of 83 years, 4 months and 29
days, of cerebral hemorrhage, causing paralysis. She had been as well as
usual until Friday, and was found Saturday morning in an unconscious
condition. She leaves three children to mourn the loss of a devoted mother.
Funeral services were held at the Swedish Church this afternoon and
interment in Chariton Cemetery.
