August Munson, 77, is taken by death

August Munson, 77, custodian at the Presbyterian church here, died at 9 a.m. Monday at his home. He had been at the church and was not feeling well and had been taken home.

His son had gone to the church where bible school is being held, found his father ill and took him home.

Munson was born in Sweden and came to Lucas County when 3 years old. Survivors include his wife, Alice, and the son, Elmer Munson.

Funeral services will be Thursday at the Miley funeral home, conducted by rev. Walter Samp, of the Methodist church.
