Thursday, August 2, 1906

MARVEL COLES, daughter of MR. and MRS. GRANVILLE COLES, born Nov. 25, 1901,
departed this life, Monday July 30th at the home of her mother, MRS. LOUIS
FLETCHER, in Lacona, of diphtheria. MARVEL was the baby of a family of six
children, five of whom at different times died of diphtheria.

Brief funeral services were conducted by Rev. F.B. Palmer at the grave in
Chariton Cemetery at 11 o'clock on Tuesday morning.
