Gary M. Conner, 58, of Loomis, Washington died March 1 of injuries suffered in an auto accident there.

The body was cremated and private graveside services were held Wednesday, May 15, in Altoona Cemetery.

Mr. Conner was born in Lucas County and lived in Washington 17 years, moving from Altoona. He was retired from the U.S. Navy.

Among survivors are two daughters, Tammy Conner and Tina Conner, and two sons, Michael and Gary, Jr., all of Loomis; two sisters, Doris Townsend of Bondurant and Marcella Irons of Altoona; and two brothers, Ralph, Jr. of Baxter and Richard of Temple City, California. ~ The Colfax Tribune, Colfax, Iowa Thurs 16 May 1996.
