Faye M. Pennington, 88, of Lucas died of complications of a stroke Monday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Fielding Funeral Home in Chariton, with burial in Chariton Cemeter.

Mrs. Pennington was born in Oakley and lived in Lucas most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Ladies Aid and Methodist Church in Chariton.

Surviving are two sons, Winfield and Harold, both of Lucas; three grandchidren; and three great-grandchildren.
