Frankie Oral Scott, son of Charlie and Rachel Scott, was born Jan. 25, 1896 at Davis City, IA and passed away Nov. 25, 1977 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital after a short illness.

He was married to Eva Marie Perry in 1938.

Oral, as he was known by most, retired from the Maytag Corporation in 1961 and had made his home in Lucas and Colfax, IA.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva; parents, four brothers, and one sister.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Dean "Dorothy" VanKlavern of Cleveland, IL; Mrs. Ray "Karen" Renfro of Colfax, IA; one brother Rex Scott of Lucas; one sister, Royal Swanson, of Chariton; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, at the Fielding Funeral Home, with Pastor Larry Rickard officiating interment was in the Goshen Cemetery.
