When sixteen years old she came with her parents to Lucas county, Iowa, locating south of Chariton where she grew to young womanhood.

She is survived by a daughter Mrs. Emma Lowe, of Charition, Iowa, and a son Bert Wilson of Yuma, Colorado; nine grandchildren; and one sister Mrs. Morris Arnold, of Garden Grove, Iowa. Her parents four sisters and one brother preceded her in death.
Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Harry R. Osborne, Methodist minister, were held at the Dunshee & Son funeral home on Saturday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock and burial was in the Chariton cemetery
