Golda Ethel Hall, oldest daughter of John & Katherine Hall, was born in Jackson township July 17, 1889, and passed away at her home in Lucas Tuesday, October 24, 1961, at the age of 72 years, three months and 17 days, following a brief illness.

She was a kind and loving mother and a helpful neighbor who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Golda was preceded in death by her husband in February, 1946; and by her parents and one brother, Bert Hall of Chariton.

She is survived by five children, three daughters-in-law, two sons-in-law, nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, four brothers and six sisters.

Funeral services were held Oct. 26 at 2 p.m., at the Beardsley-Fielding Funeral Home, the Rev. E. Vester Chance officiating. Interment was in the Goshen cemetery.
