DIED WHILE HE SLEPT

Chariton Man's Wife Calls Him to Breakfast and Finds Him Dead.

Chariton, Dec. 2. - P.M. Lenstrom, a Swedish American citizen of this place, died Tuesdy night while asleep.

He was almost 82 years of age, but never seriously ill and on Tuesday was in his usual good health. He was uptown that day and made a few purchases and attended the Christmas exercises at the Swedish Luthern church.

He went home in the evening and retired in good health. His wife arose and prepared breakfast at the usual time, but he did not wake up. She investigated and found him dead, having passed off quietly during the night. He was well known and was a much respected citizen. He came to this country about 25 years ago and 20 years of that were spent in Chariton. He leaves a wife and three children to mourn his death.

Transcriber note: I have written obit exactly as it appeared in the paper. Dates may be wrong in original obit as I could not find any P.M. Linstrom of any spelling born about 1818 in Sweden.
