Sherman A. Pfrimmer, 76, of 305 SE Hart Ave, died of cancer Sunday at Mercy Hospita Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m Wednesday at Southtown Funeral Home. Burial will be at Norwood
Cemetery in Norwood.
Mr. Pfrimmer was born in Lucas County and lived in Des Moines since 1942. He was a retired baker with Colonial Bakery and had been president of the Bakers Union for 15 years.
He is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Downey, and a sister, Marie Maxwell, both of Des Moines; a brother, Francis of Weslaco, Texas; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
