Thursday, October 1, 1908W.C. DOUGLASS, of Burlington, Kansas, in company with ISAAC NORRIS of this
city, made the Patriot Office a very pleasant call this Thursday morning.

that date. He was a member of Company E 34th Iowa Infantry during the Civil
War. Captain N.B. GARDNER, whom MR. DOUGLASS was glad to meet, commanded
the company, and in his advancing years an honored and beloved citizen.
