Thursday, August 1, 1907

MR. RALPH DOUGLASS, of Rawlins, Wyom., and MISS EDITH WREN, of this city,
were united in the holy bonds of wedlock Monday evening, at the home of the
bride's mother, in northeast Chariton, Rev. F.B. Palmer, of the First
Baptist church officiating, in the presence of the relatives and a few
immediate friends. The bride is a daughter of MRS. LIDA WREN, was raised in
this city, and is in every way fitted to preside over a home. The groom is
a son of WM. E. DOUGLASS, west of town, and grew to manhood in this vicinity
They will leave in about a week for their new home at Rawlins, Wyoming,
where the groom holds a lucrative position with the Union Pacific Railroad.
Their many friends extend congratulations, and wish for them a happy wedded
life, blessed with prosperity.
