From the Chariton Leader December 30, 1930
Anderson – Munson

A quiet wedding was performed at the home of Charles C. Anderson near the North Park on the afternoon of Christmas Day, December 25, 1930 at 4 o’clock, when their daughter Miss Thelma Anderson became the bride of Mr. Ray Munson of this city. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Archie Beals, of Russell in the presence of immediate relatives. The couple was attended by Mr. Roy Anderson, brother of the bride, and Miss Blanche Goering of near Freedom.

The bride was attired in a dainty gown of brown crepe. Following the ceremony a dinner was served.

The following day, the brides parents moved to Cambria and their home will be occupied by the newly-weds

The bride is a young lady possessing many charming attributes and is well fitted to assume the responsibility of a home.

The groom is a son of Mr. & Mrs. P.A. Munson, and was born and has grown to young manhood in Chariton. For some time he has been employed with the Byron Blanchard radio & electric establishment. He is a worthy & energetic Young man of good Habits & character.

Both have many friends who will unite in extending congratulations & wish that they may have many years of happiness & prosperity
