I was unable to find an obituary. I looked through the entire April 1902 microfilm for Morning Sun News-Herald.

I did call the sexton of the cemetery and found a listing for Carrie Nelson, B. 9.17.1828 and died 3.28.1092. The lot was owned by John Nelson. Also buried in that lot was Gustaf Nelson b. 3.?.1868 and died 11.12.1888.

I also got directions to the lot in the cemetery if you are interested and close enough to want to take a look.

Take the 2nd drive to the right, less than 1/4 of the way on the left. You will see stones for M. Collins, J.L. Jarvis, and Stanford. Behind them in the 5th row west, is the area of the stones.
