Death & Burial

I'm trying to locate the death record & burial site of Joseph Scott. He bought & sold land in Louisa Co. about 1885, then moved back to Union Co.IN where he was widowed and living in the 1900 US census. Available info suggests that he went back to Morning Sun, IA about 1905 and died there. He had only an adopted son Margiris (sp?) who disappears from records after the 1870 census. His 2nd wife Margaret died in 1897 here in IN. Did he die in Louisa Co and if so, where was he buried? Thanks for any help!
