Elizabeth Tharp, maiden name Smith, first married to mr. Dunahoo. Later married Joshua Tharp in Virginia. She moved with her children to Louisa Co. Iowa in 1851 from Indiana. She had a daughter, who married a Vandervort. See Vandervort and Dunahoo names in Louisa County records. Would like to learn more about these name connections.
