Parents of Jesse B Jarvis Sr.

I am looking for the parents of Jesse B. Jarvis Sr. Jesse B Jarvis Sr., born 1830 in New York I believe. He married Ann Westervelt in Sussex Co, New Jersey in 1853 and came to Iowa about 1854 or 1855. He lived several years in Port Louisa. He died in 1909.

I have not been able to find a source confirming his parents. One source I found states his father is Abraham Jarvis. A transcript of Jesse's death record states his father's name as Birmingham Jarvis.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
