I can be some help, I grew up in Oakville until 1979. Russell Mellinger married Grace Swafford, they had one daughter Jane, my mother, who is living in Oakville. When I see her next weekend I'll ask her what she recalls.

Russell Mellinger had two brothers, Perry and Frank.

Perry had one son, who had no children. Frank was killed in a factory accident in Davenport in the 50s.
