The remains of the late Robert H. Nichols, of Marshall township, who passed away at the home of his son, Roy Nichols, at Worland, Wyo., last Friday arrived yesterday in Morning Sun and the funeral will be held at Oakland this afternoon. Mr. Nichols had been absent from his Louisa county home for the past year or more. He went to visit his sons in Portland, Ore, Seattle, Wash., and Worland, Wyo, and was enroute from the former place to the latter city when death overtook him. He was accompanied on his western visit by his wife and youngest son, Paul, who brought the remains back to Louisa county for interment. Mr. Nichols had been a resident of Marshall township for the past forty years or more. His death was quite sudden. Mr. Nichols was about 75 years of age. He is survived by his wife and six sons- Geo., of Portland, Ore.; Ned, of Seattle, Wash,; Charles, Roy and Joe, of Worland , Wyo,; and Paul, at home.
