Page 1William Reinhart, an old resident of Columbus Junction, died at his home last Saturday, April 3, 1910. He had been an invalid for the past five years and had declined rapidly in the past few weeks. He was born August 24, 1824, in York county, Pa., and was 85 years, 7 months and 9 days at the time of death. His marriage to Miss Matilda Sheffer, of Muscatine was celebrated in 1863, and he came with his young wife and settled on a farm near Columbus City, where they lived two years. He them moved to Columbus City, where for a number of years he was engaged in the boot and shoe business. One year ago he moved to Columbus Junction. Surviving him and his wife are the following six children: G. P. Rinehart, of Somerton, Ohio; W. L. Rinehart, of Dave, N. D.; Mrs. Alice Arning, of Columbus City, and A. Emery Rinehart and Miss Alta Rhinehart at home. Also a brother, J. W. Rinehart, of Manton, Cal.; a half brother, Samuel Rinehart, of Santafe, Kans., and a half sister, Mrs. Joseph Evans, of Larmer, Ia.
