Page 1The dead body of Jack Beade, aged 66, was found Monday morning lying aginst the door of his pool hall in Conesville, which also served him as living quarter. The body lay against the door in such a position that it was with great difficulty that the door was pushed open. Beade had not been seen since Saturday evening and when he did not open his place of business Monday morning, an investigation followed. It is believed that Beade, who is said to have been drinking heavily Saturday, had fallen by his door and there froze to death. Beade was an old soldier. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Thomas Huseman and Mrs. Israel Hill, of Conesville. The coroners inquest was held Monday afternoon and reached a verdict of death as a result of exposure during intoxication.
