Page 1The remains of Mrs. Elizabeth Sprague, who died Feb. 17, 1909, at the home of her son in Minneapolis, were brought back for burial in the Grandview cemetery Tuesday where the interment took place. Her maiden name was Smith. She was born in Indiana about 83 years ago and came with her family to Grandview in the early day, where she was married to Robert Hamilton Sprague, for many years one of the most prominent men in Grandview. Her husband died in 1872. She had made her home in Minneapolis for the past ten years with her sons, Newton Chalmers and Frank Sprague, who accompanied the remains to this place. Mrs. G. R. Keller, of this place, is a step daughter and with her husband accompanied the remains to Grandview where interment took place Tuesday forenoon.
