Mrs. J. M. Harris, of Columbus Junction, died last Monday morning, after weeks of suffering. She had been in failing health for several months and had recently returned from a trip to Colorado, from which she received no benefit, however, her death occurring about two weeks after her return home. Her maiden was Mattie Dodds. She was born in Ohio, but came to Iowa where she taught school a number of years before her marriage to J. M. Harris, who with one sister and several brothers mourn her departure.
