Joseph Harland Swank, the four and a half months old son of Geo. W. Swank and wife died quite suddenly Monday evening, May 15. The babe was born Dec. 31, 1904 and being the only son was naturally the idol of the home. He was a bright and seemingly healthy child and although ailing slightly for some time was not thought to be dangerously ill until about two hours before he died. The trouble was some derangement of the stomach and bowels. The funeral services were held from the home yesterday at 2 p. m. conducted by Chas. Blanchard. The little body was taken to Long Creek cemetery for interment.
