Charles C. Armbright died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Armbright, of Columbus Junction, at noon on Friday, April 14, after an illness of six weeks, with typhoid pneumonia. About two weeks ago he began to improve and it was hoped that he would recover, but this was not to be. He was born at Stowe, Vermont, August 12, 1870 and was nearly thirty-five years of age. He came west with his parents when a young boy and most of his life was spent at Columbus Junction.

About two years since he was married to Miss Edith Edmondson, of that place, who, with a little daughter, is left to mourn her great loss. Besides these he leaves two brothers and four sisters. They are Henry and Paul, of Columbus Junction, Mrs. Lizzie Mattert, of Siblery, Mrs. Bertha Davis, of Wapello, Orlena and Marie, little girls at home. These with the parents have the sincere sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement.

Mr. and Mrs. Armbright had just gone to Muscatine to make their home and he came to Columbus Junction to spend Sunday with his parents when he was taken very ill and never left their home. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, April 16, at the Presbyterian church, conducted by Rev. J. C. Kendrick, of the Methodist church and Rev. J. R. Vance, of the Presbyterian church. The interment was at Columbus City.
