Mrs. Ann Dean Hank was born July 4th, 1838, in London, England, and was united in marriage to John Hank July 14th, 1861, at St. George's church, London. They came to this country Nov. 3. 1866. To this union was born twelve children, (six boys and six girls) ten of whom still survive, one having died in infancy and one in young manhood. Mrs. Hank died March 22, 1905, after an illness of twenty-two months, the cause of her death being ascending spinal paralysis. She was aged 67 years, 6 moths, and 18 days. She was a faithful wife and a kind and loving mother.
