Baby Agnes Marie Brimmer was born July 11, 1904, and was at the time of her death, 8 months and 9 days old. For about a week the little creature suffered intensely, but God in his mercy at last released the spirit from the lovely little body. Baby Agnes was so sweet and winsome with her innocent baby ways that she twined herself around the hearts of all who knew her and may hears ache and lament her early death. The funeral was held in the Catholic church in Wapello, Wednesday March 22, at 10 o'clock after which the remains were laid to rest in the Long Creek cemetery.
