Death stole across the threshold of the home of Adolph Dalmase and wife, and on Tuesday evening, February 28th, while the twilight shadows fathered, he took from the home its most precious treasure, baby Elena Gertrude Dalmase. The fond, young parents who idolized their darling, the blow came with crushing force, and they have the sincere sympathy of all their friends in their sad bereavement. Baby Elena was born Aug. 6, 1904, and was, at the time of her death, 6 months, 22 days old. She was, indeed, a sweet, bright baby, beloved by all who knew her, and many hearts ache and mourn her early death. A sweet and solemn ceremony, conducted by J. R. Hammond was held at the Dalmase home Thursday, March 2, at 10 o'clock, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Long Creek cemetery.
